Innovate London is a joint venture between three business incubators in London. With European funding, Innovate London is looking to improve business performance and ultimately the bottom line, for SMEs across the capital.
Naked Creativity were commissioned to develop the Innovate London brand. Produced within a tight timeframe, running up to the official launch event, Naked Creativity have produced an eye catching design that has been well received by all stakeholders in the project.
As one of the more established companies at one of the partner incubators, Naked Creativity were asked to make a short presentation at the launch event, which took place at the Design Museum. Creative Director Jordan Chitty spoke about how being based at a business incubator has helped get the company to where it is today, grow the client base, and expand the team.

The BBC’s love of Twitter is well documented, but it’s spot on the money with this article on social media for business.
Although I’m not going to summarise their article in 140 characters, I am going to try to explain why our customers are finding social media is good for their business. But what is social media? Philippe Starck handpicked 12 would-be apprentices from the UK to compete for a 6-month work placement at his studio in Paris. Being a fairly recent design graduate myself I know how much effort students (at least at the Brunel University design department) put in, and the resulting high quality of work generated.
However, judging by the first three episodes of ‘Design for Life’ that we have seen so far, it appears that the candidates are not applying themselves fully to the tasks. Read more

While Jordan was away on holiday, I was getting all the emails sent to our ‘hello@nakedcreativity.co.uk’ email account. We get all sorts sent to this address, from people trying to sell us cleaning services (we’re not that messy!) to the ones we like to receive (new business enquiries).
However, by far the most frequent email we receive are speculative emails from established designers, recent graduates, or school students looking for work experience with a graphic design agency. Read more
