Brief

Women in the City run a very successful annual lunch and awards ceremony for high-flying businesswomen in the City of London.

However, to expand their business beyond the lunch and awards, they approached Naked Creativity to produce a glossy, handbag sized magazine, three times a year. This enables Women in the City to keep their customers up to date with up and coming events, whilst providing a revenue stream in itself through advertising to a highly targeted audience.

We delivered

An exceptionally high quality magazine, the first issue of which impressed the audience at the 2008 Women in the City Lunch and Awards, especially when compared to the previous lunch and awards brochure.

Each edition contains informative stories which keep readers engaged and raise interest in Women in the City events, whilst exploring the wider issues affecting women working in the City of London.

In creating each issue of the magazine, we at Naked Creativity are responsible for all elements of the design from art direction and image sourcing to liaising with advertisers and sponsors. We also work closely with the contributors and editors in order to ensure that the production of each magazine runs efficiently and smoothly, with the finished result being a trendy, modern magazine suited to the audience.

Following our success with Cutting Edge, we've gone on to be involved with Women in the City on a long term basis. This includes working with them to develop a new website with online bookings and nominations for the lunch and awards. As all visual elements of the Women in the City brand are managed by Naked Creativity, there is consistency across the magazine, website and marketing material.
