Self Energy Website redesign

Brief

The previous website used a content management system that whilst powerful, was challenging to use, and as a result the team at Self Energy struggled to keep their website as up-to-date as they liked.

Our brief from Self Energy was to create a "first class website keeping to the Self Energy corporate brand, and clearly communicating the Self Energy value proposition to our clients, suppliers and partners".

Self Energy are an energy services company, focused on delivering decentralised energy generation, so clients are maximise the cost benefits, supply security and minimise carbon emissions.

We delivered

Based on client feedback from our concept website designs, we developed a new website in keeping with the Self Energy corporate identity.

The site runs from our own custom content management system, which is simple and quick to use, and offers the flexibility we needed to deliver the project. In the words of our client, "a great platform to add to as needed".

As well as being easy to update with the latest news and case studies, the new website was designed from the ground up with search engine optimisation in mind.

Although we don't have before and after statistics (we do try to ensure Google Analytics is up and running on your old site so that we can see what your visitors do on the old and new sites) we can see improvements

For example, with the new site being thoroughly indexed by Google, we are seeing visitors landing on pages throughout the site from the search engine. Visitors are delivered to the part of the website that matches their search, rather than just to the homepage.
